Employment Development Department (EDD) 124 North Irwin Street, Hanford, CA 93230 (559) 585- 3542 At EDD a Veteran can register in CalJOBS, fax resumes to employers, access Internet Job Services sites, receive referrals to education and training, and inquire about workshops. Case Management (see glossary) is available according to need. Local Veteran Employment Representative (LVER) and Disabled Veteran Outreach Representative (DVOP) can assist eligible Veterans in their search for employment and services offered throughout the county. Veterans can also receive information about qualification and eligibility for the Chapter 31 Program (Disabled Veteran Program).

Kings One Stop Job Center 124 North Irwin Street, Hanford, CA 93230 (559) 585-3532 At the center a Veteran will be referred to service providers located throughout the county. Currently there are three agencies located at the One-Stop and they provide a wide array of services. There is a resource room with Twelve computers, fax machines, copiers, and telephone which are available for the Veteran to use for their job search activities. Central California Health Care Systems 2615 East Clinton Avenue Fresno, CA 93703 (559) 225-6100 The Fresno VAMC is a full service medical center. Service Connected Disabled Veterans, Veterans with no income who need medical attention, and Veterans with insurance, who want to be treated at the VAMC, are all welcome at the hospital. In the hospital you'll find Veteran Service Officers who can provide Veterans with "Powers of Attorney" for filing for disability, and assistance with benefits. Also located there, are AM Vets, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). American Legion representatives.
