ASSESSMENT
Begin by taking stock and inventory. What skills do you have to offer, what kind of working conditions to you prefer and other questions that help form a picture of you.
ANALYZE YOUR SKILLS
Put all of these things together to create a picture of yourself. You should have a list of skills that are clustered and categorized so that you can apply them in different resumes for different positions.
Remember that you are not a teacher, a scientist, a baker or a welder. You are a person with skills that can be utilized in many different ways.
-----Use the skills at the top of your list, or your most preferred skills and accomplishments to create your 60 second me.
-----Use this at the end of an interview.
----Take this with you in case you are asked to fill out an application. You will have all the information you need.
----Employers do not like generic resumes. They want you to have focus.
