Putting It All Together

OK, here we are at the end of this series of workshops. By now if you have gone through each of the workshops, you have developed a 60 second Me and a Resume based on the various skills that you have. You have also prepared for the interview by rehearsing in your mind and in front of the mirror or freinds.

Now you have to go out and sell yourself, using all of the information that you have gained from these workshops. It takes practice and perseverance. Don't expect to go out and land the first job you interview for. Be prepared to be rejected. In fact, look for it. In Sales there is always a magic number. A percentage that the salesman plays. He knows that one out of four, or one out of twelve or one out ten is going to say NO. So he looks for nine No's so he can get to the one yes. Don't take it as a personal rejection. It's just a numbers game. If you apply to enough places, eventually you will iron all of the bugs out of your interviewing skills and you will find an employer that you are a perfect match for.

Just Don't Give Up.
