Veterans Employment Committee of San Mateo: This is a very comprehensive site from the San Francisco Bay Area. The site contains everything from a "Virtual Job Fair" to local services to Veteran Legislation to Women Veteran Services to labor information and much, much more. They have links to other Veteran sites, info on burial benefits, a list of all of the Veteran Service Organizations, and health care information! They even sponsor a television program, on local public access, called "Veterans Helping Veterans". It is shown on KCMS, Channel 60 and is hosted and produced by Sheryl Shaffer. The website contains their complete program listings.
Blinded Veterans Association: The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) is an organization specifically established to promote the welfare of blinded veterans. Through their service programs, groups and benefits they hope to make life easier for blinded veterans and help by being there with encouragement and support. There is no charge for any BVA service. Membership is not a prerequisite. All legally blind veterans are eligible for BVA's help whether they became blind during or after active duty.
National Veterans Foundation (NVF):The National Veterans Foundation offers comprehensive crisis management, referral and information to veterans and their families on a national basis through its toll-free telephone number. More information is available on this website.

American Legion Post 119:This is a great site for links to important websites. They also include a multitude of travel information on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Included on this site is what they call "A Directory of Military and Veteran Links". This website is full of useful information and should be visited by everyone.
