Some of the services they offer are: vocational training, job placement, career counseling, on-the-job training, computer literacy and keyboarding, GED/high school diploma preparation, computer software, job search skills, business office skills. Yolo County Veterans Service Office, Ted Puntillo 120 W. Main, Woodland, CA 95695 (530) (530) 406-4850 The Yolo County Veteran Service Officer, is the liason between the Veteran and the Veterans Administration with matters such as home loans, pension and medical, burial benefits and more. He is also your contact for Service Connected Disability information. He can help you with many Veteran issues. Take a copy of your DD-214.

Sacramento Outpatient & Dental Clinics @ McClellan Park: The Outpatient Clinic is located at 5342 Dudley Blvd. Building 98, McClellan Park, Sacramento, CA 95652 (916)561-7400 and the Dental Clinic is located at 5401 Arnold Ave., Building 88, McClellan Park, Sacramento, CA 95652 (916)564-5218. The clinics are located off I-80 on Watt Avenue. From I-80, take the Watt Avenue exit going North. Stay in the left lane and turn into McClellan Park at the Peacekeeper Gate. The clinic will be on the left side of the road at the first stop light. The clinics offer a wide range of medical and ancillary services and programs to qualifying veterans, including: Audiology, dental, home health care, Laboratory, Mammography, Mental Health, Minor Procedures, Pharmacy, Primary Care Radiology, and Women's Medicine.

Davis Community Meals, Shelter and Resource Center (DCM) For shelter: 1111 "H" St. Davis, CA 95615 (530) 753-9204 or for meals: 640 Hawthorn St. (at St. Martin's Church) Davis CA (530) 756-4008 Davis Community Meals is a non-profit organization that provides low-income individuals with food, shelter and other services in a community setting. DCM currently serves a free meal twice a week, runs a year round homeless shelter in Davis as well as a resource and referral center. The Resource Center offers access to laundry facilities, showers, emergency food, and clothing. Career and substance abuse counseling is also available. Telephone use and bus passes are offered for such purposes as job search and medical appointments. If you have any questions about their programs, call the numbers listed above.

The Yolo Wayfarer Center Christian Mission 201 Fouth St., Woodland CA 95695 The Mission is a shelter for the poor and needy. They are a non-profit, non-denominational organization. They offer meals and grocery distribution, the Family Shelter Program, The Reach Program, which is assistance for low income families, and is a program offered by the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army also provides emergency vouchers for specific needs. The Wayfarer Center also offers counseling, classes, showers and laundry services, message center and bus passes.
